He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Williams and Rebecca H. Williams; his son Cedric Workman; his sister Mary Miller; and his grandparents, Jacob and Rosa Holloway.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn McClellan of Asheville, Lyddia Hancock of Charlotte and Rev. Robert C. Williams (Sylvia) of Newton, NC; and his grandson Caleb Workman. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
