He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond and Fannie Grace Gosnell Rhymer; his brother James Larry Rhymer; and his wife Mary Juanita Price Rhymer. He is survived by: his children, Richie Rhymer (Jackie), Cindy Moore (Greg), Marsha Rhymer (Cindy Klein) and Jennifer Wilkes (Eric); his grandchildren, Ashley, Austin (Libby), Carly (Chris), Courtney (Shane), Haleigh and Madison (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Finley, Ava, Audrie, Frankie, Gray, Adeline and Lily.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (392 Tabernacle Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
