With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Riley (Asheville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Kimberly Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kimberly Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her father Samuel LaFrenzo Riley, II; and her brother Samuel LaFrenzo Riley, III. She is survived by : her mother Mary Ann Riley; her children, Elizabeth Fozard of Durham, NC, Travis Durham, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Jakobe Summey of Richmond, VA; her siblings, Cynthia Riley of Asheville, NC and James Arrington of Atlanta, GA; her stepbrothers, Damian and Ryan Logan of Canton, NC; and her grandchild Channing McCrae (Golden Ray).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church (56 Walton St, Asheville, NC 28801). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Freedom Christian Church Cemetery (801 Freedom Cove Dr, Marshall, NC 28753).
