He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Galarza and Rosario Medrano. He is survived by: his wife Genoveva Bautista; and his children, Rodrigo, Fransica, Fernando, Antonio, Benito, Pascual, Fortino, Sofia, Azucena and Elizabeth. He is also survived by thirty five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a loving, large extended family.
