She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Harman and Cary Poe Harman (Shaw). She is survived by: her husband Jack; her sons, Stewart H. Shirey and William F. Shirey; her children-in-law, Tracy Gill and Sophia Papadopoulos; her grandchildren, Lila Luper, Delia Shirey and James Thompson-Shirey; her great grandchildren, Liam, Kiara and Holly Rose Luper; and her sister Margaret Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, gifts to the Sunset Beach Turtle Watch organization are encouraged.
