He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thompson Butterworth; his sons, Milton Thomas Butterworth, III (Jeannette) and Luke Thomas Butterworth (Hope); his grandchildren, Elliot, Celia, Max and Sam; his siblings-in-law, John Thompson, Jr. (Jan), Tommy Thompson, Patty Thompson and Jan Thompson (John); and his sibling's children, Andrea Jones (Cara), Jennifer Thompson (Todd), Meredith Peine (Adam), John Thompson III (Shannon), Noah Jackson Adam Jackson (Mary), Henry Thompson (Emily), Charlie Thompson and Mia Thompson.
