With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pavlos Skarlatos of Asheville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pavlos left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ioannis Skarlatos and Maria Skarlatos (Fragakis); his wife Vassiliki Skarlatos (Katsanos); and his siblings, Christos, Vasiliki, Eleni and Nicholaos.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Skarlatos Giannakopoulos (Dimitrios) and Christos "Chris" Skarlatos (Anastasia); and his grandchildren, Alexandros, Sofia, Vassiliki and Eliana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (227 Cumberland Ave, Asheville, NC 28801). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Lewis Memorial Park (415 Beaverdam Rd, Asheville, NC 28804).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Iconography Fund.
