He was predeceased by: his parents, Holly William "Chick" Hipp and Helen Patton Hipp of Swannanoa, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Kay McCall Hipp; his children, Kitty Hipp McCurry (Kenny) of Asheville and Bill Hipp (Shannon) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; his grandchildren, Ashley Nicole McCurry, Taylor Scott McCurry (Kylie), Henry McCall Hipp and Jack Owens Hipp; and his great grandchildren, Karson Bowers Reagan, Lucy Grace McCurry and Iyla Kay McCurry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Forest Presbyterian Church.
