He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carl Fisher, Sr. and Ollie Myers Schaffner; his stepfather Michael Schaffner; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Ann Vannoy Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Jean Battle Fisher; his sons, Robert Michael Fisher (Lisa) and John Philip Fisher (Angie); his half-sister Susie Bartley (Joe); and his pet Muffin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Asheville Baptist Church (926 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1498 Sand Hill Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
