It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelley Lorraine Swan Frisella (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Dexter, Maine, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Helen Wing Swan; and her brother Billy Swan. She is survived by : her husband Jim Frisella; her children, Tasha Jones (Christopher), Jimmy Frisella, Jr. (Melissa) and Matthew Frisella (Emmy); her grandchildren, Isabella, Adelynn, Daisy Jones, Gabriella Frisella, Liam, Mason and Amelia Frisella; and her siblings, Susan Hodges, Doris Pittman, Helene Powell, Pauline Harris, Tim Swan and Glen Swan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Green Hills Cemetery (25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
