She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McMahan and Ruth McMahan; her husband Franklin D. Orr; her son Franklin "Frankie" D. Orr, Jr.; and her siblings, Robert McMahan, Patsy Hulse, Doris Souther, Ralph McMahan and Roxy.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Simpson (Tim); and her granddaughter Miranda Shipman (Andrew).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806).
