We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2020, at the age of 87, Weldon O. Angel of Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Lee Angel and Mafra Taylor Angel; and his brothers, Winfred, Wilburn and Crawford.

He is survived by: his sons, Mike Angel of Candler and Greg K. Angel (Melissa) of Swannanoa; his grandchildren, Kate Angel Cox and Matthew Reagan Angel; his great grandchildren, Jordan Cox and Lilly Morrow; and his sister-in-law Retha Angel of Arden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
