It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Scarborough (Avon, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pastor Alvin and Edna Price; her daughter Lori Younce of Avon; her husband Celestial "Maxton" Scarborough; and her siblings, Alvin Price, Eula Price Gray, Benjamin Price and James Price.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Midgette of Buxton, Marilyn Bernauer of Morehead City, Amy Scarborough of Avon and Candice Quidley of Buxton; and her sister Nita Price Miller. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
