It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Washburn Jarrett (Bakersville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Washburn and Nettie Washburn. She is survived by: her daughter Paula Wayne; her son-in-law Chris; and her granddaughters, Hannah Marie of Charleston and Christiana of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by six sisters and two brothers and had many nieces and nephews.
