He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Sparks and Carrie Byrd Sparks; and his daughter Cindy Sparks Osborne. He is survived by : his wife Charlene Thomas Sparks; his daughters, Revonda Holliday (James) of Greer, SC, Kandra Greene (Bob) of Winston Salem, NC, Deborah Knight of Mooresville, NC and Marcheita Sparks of Salt Lake, UT; his sisters, Marilyn Queen of Unicoi, TN and Theresa Murdock of Newland, NC; his grandchildren, Todd Holliday, Andrea Bloom, Jason Greene, Justin Greene, Megan Newbeaur, Keenan Knight, Kaitlyn Knight, Rose Ashley Osborne, Adam Pendlebury, Blair Robertson and Wills Pendlebury; and his great grandchildren, Grant, Sam Holliday, Deward Bloom, Avery, Bryce Greene, Wyatt, Hudson Newbeauer and Jack Pendlebury.
