He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Thomas Rolen and Nina Wilson Rolen; and his wife Nellie Poole Rolen. He is survived by : his son Tom Rolen (Nancy) of Knoxville, TN; his sisters, Vivian Orr of Bakersville, NC and Jean Grant (Mackie) of Robbinsville, NC; his cousin Larry Fortner (Anita) of Bakersville; his granddaughters, Elena Black (Glen) of Chattanooga, TN and Hannah Rolen of Shelby, NC; and his great grandchildren, Emma Black, Lydia Black and Michael Lineberger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
