He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Willis and Pansy Grindstaff Willis; his son Wadie Willis; and his sister Mary Sue Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Reva Greene Willis; his daughters, Debra Cagle (Mark) of Bakersville, Melanie Burse (Terry) of Spruce Pine and Lori Burleson (Stacey) of Bakersville; and his siblings, Teddy Willis of Bakersville and Betty Norman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bear Creek Baptist Church (327 Bear Creek Church Rd, Bakersville, NC 28705). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
