She is survived by: her husband Ervin Ricks Elks Jr.; her children, Timothy Elks of Chocowinity, Paula Roman (Charles Roman) of Chocowinity, Susan Elks of Durham, Vicki Baynor of Washington and Kristy Crisp (Fonzie Crisp) of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, MaryBeth Stroud (Donnie) of Oak City, N. C., Chelsea Baynor-Godard (Luke Godard) of Bear Grass, N. C., Chase Baynor of Greenville, N. C., Chaleigh Baynor of Washington, N. C., Kaleigh, Riley Crisp of Chocowinity, N. C, Zachary Burcik and Ayden Boggs of Durham, N. C.; her great grandchild Sawyer Stroud of Oak City, N. C.; and her siblings, Gene Martin (Ernestine) of Grimesland, Carl Wayne Martin (Alice) of Greenville, Mildred Hamilton of Washington, Audrey Batten (Ray) of Snow Hill and Sandra Guy (Bobby) of Greenville.
