With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Willard Shomaker of Beech Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Harrison Shomaker and Dorcas Chappell Shomaker; his wife Ruth Johnson Shomaker; and his siblings, Ruth Shomaker Howell, Francalene Shomaker Fortune, Frank Shomaker and Homer Shomaker.
He is survived by: his son Billy Shomaker of Beech Mountain; his granddaughter Jayme Shomaker Vernon (Cas) of Beech Mountain; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Gallop of Beech Mountain, Hannah Vernon of Beech Mountain, Haleigh Vernon of Beech Mountain and Caitlin Vernon of Beech Mountain; and his brother Doyle Shomaker (Barbara) of Banner Elk.
