As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Holt and Beverly Carlson Holt; and his siblings, Bruce Holt and Debra Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Holt Rozner (Bobby) and Holly Holt Mackin (Ian); his grandchildren, Blake Rozner and Leah Rozner; his brother Granvil Holt (Lynn); and his close friend Angela Lane. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
