She is survived by: her children, Doris Jackson of Durham, Karen Williams (Eddie), Nancy Capps and Thomas Capps (Shelby Tyndall) of Erwin; her grandchildren, Spencer Capps, Matthew Capps, Andrew Capps and Kaylee Williams; her great grandchildren, Katey Beal and Mason Capps; and her siblings, Frances Whittenton, Joanne Drennan and Hilton Byrd (Betty).
