He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmer Hayes and Ellie Allen Hayes; his siblings, Betty Lou Tart, Joyce Hayes Tart, Larry Allen Hayes and James Danny Hayes; and his parents-in-law, Billy and Bobbie Parrish.
He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Parrish Hayes; his daughter Amber Starr Hayes; his sister Janice H. Stevens; and his pets, Gigi, Charlotte and Ringo. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
