It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth McLeod Coffey (Benson, North Carolina), born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Watis Page and Sadie Mae Parker McLeod; her daughter Mae Lynn Murray; and her brothers, Watis P. McLeod, Jr. and Archie T. McLeod.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Horton Murray, Richard Murray, Anna Murray King, John Murray, Terina Coffey Upchurch and Christopher Cullen Coffey; and her siblings, Sheila McLeod Keene, Norma McLeod Bullock, Ruth McLeod Potter, Jean Hall Bullock, Richard McLeod and David McLeod. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
