We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2021, at the age of 73, Gwen Stewart Mitchell (Benson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Melvin Stewart and Lois Barbour Stewart; and her husband William C. "Bill" Mitchell. She is survived by: her sister Vicky Stewart Barnes; her sibling's children, Amanda B. Godwin (Timmy) of Benson, Jason Barnes of Four Oaks and Laryce Barnes of Coats; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison Barnes, Gabby Godwin, Lindsay Barnes, Adam Godwin and Luke Barnes; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Weldon of Four Oaks, Jimmy Mitchell (Patsy) of Four Oaks and George Mitchell (Ginger) of California.
