It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris McLeod Barefoot (Benson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver McLeod and Margie McLeod; and her sister Gail Riddle. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Barefoot of Benson; her son Ben Barefoot (Natalie) of Mt. Airy; her grandchildren, Zoey and Blake Barefoot; and her siblings, Jenny West (Phil) of Erwin, Peggy Smith (Fred) of Asheboro, Gary McLeod (Jackie) of Benson, Don McLeod (Susie) of Dunn and Glenn McLeod (Sherry) of Coats.
In accordance with the NC COVID 19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines.
