She was predeceased by: her parents, Allmon McLamb and Varah Turnage McLamb; her husband Clelon H. Benson; her daughter Rhonda Redar; and her siblings, Gerald McLamb, Redding McLamb, Stacy McLamb, Gardner McLamb, Leonard McLamb and Ilee Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Benson and Lynn Benson-Rogers; her grandchildren, John Rogers, Charlie Rogers and Tanya Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Jack Rogers, L. J. Scott, Jamal Scott and Deante Scott.
The family will receive friends 11:00AM-11:45AM-Thursday, August 19, 2021 prior to the service at New Life Pentecostal Church, 401 East Church Street, Benson, NC 27504 and other times at the home.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to New Life Pentecostal Church, PO Box 97, Benson, NC 27504.
