He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Talmage Beasley and Susan Elaine Johnson Beasley; his wife Sally Guin Beasley; his children, Dorian Charles Beasley, Linwood Melvin Beasley, Julius Melvin Beasley, Jr., Joyce Ruth Beasley Armstrong, Diane Beasley (Infant) and Susan Elaine Beasley Blackman; and his brother Junious Talmage "J. T.".
He is survived by: his sisters, Verna Woodall, Sally Beasley Barbour and Callie Strickland; his son Johnny Beasley (Karen) of Benson; and his brothers, James Henry Beasley of Virginia, Jessie Frank Beasley of Smithfield and Robert Beasley of Michigan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
