With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha S. Byrd (Benson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 7, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wade, Sr. and Vivian Irene Cail Stanford; and her husband Roger Green "R. G.". She is survived by: her granddaughter Hannah Willis; her siblings, Ernest Wade Stanford, Jr., Mary Irene Stanford, John Lindsey Stanford and Esther Ruth Long; her children, Debbie B. Finklestein (Johnny), Kathy B. Willis (Danny) of Benson, Roger W. Byrd (Julie) of North Ft and Tammy B. Dorman (Dale) of Dunn; and her sister Rebecca Ann Stanford of Georgia.
In accordance with the NC COVID 19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines.
