She was predeceased by: her parents, Leewood Godwin and Versal Parrish Godwin; and her siblings, James Godwin, Sarah Bennett of Loral Ammons, L. W and Faye Godwin Lovick.
She is survived by: her son Michael Cotton; her daughter-in-law Bonnie of Zebulon; her daughter Myra Cotton Winders of Fuquay-Varina; her brother R. L. Godwin; and her sister-in-law Glenda. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines.
Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be sent to one's favorite charity.
