He was predeceased by : his father Bobby Charlie Deaton; and his grandchildren, Bella Rain Durbin and Cooper Easton Durbin. He is survived by : his mother Phyllis Carpenter Wysor; his children, Charlie Deaton (Amanda), Chuck Deaton (Amanda), Shi Durbin (Bobby) and Amber Deaton; his siblings, Marcus Deaton and Deborah Thomas (Jerry); his grandchildren, Alex Durbin (Michelle), Darren Durbin (Lily), Theresa Durbin, Allie Mae Durbin, Zachariah Deaton, Jordan Deaton, Naomi Grace Deaton, Brayden Brigmon, Ansley Deaton and Drake Deaton; and his great grandchild Oaklynn Durbin.
