With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cloie Irene Harmon Phifer of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Vandiver Harmon and Clarisse Emma Honeycutt Harmon; her siblings, Warren Harmon, Ralph Harmon, Jim Harmon and Hazel Thomas; her sister-in-law Hazel Harmon; and her grandson Joshua Phifer.

She is survived by : her husband A. G. Phifer; her children, Jimmy Phifer (Jeanine) and Stephanie Balderson (late Tom); her grandchildren, Thomas Ashley Balderson and Lindsey Masiello (Frankie); and her great grandchildren, Talmadge Masiello and Gage Masiello. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at 1123 Edgewood Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
