It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Geraldine Rose of Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Asbury King and Dimple Cook King; her husband Kenneth Howard Rose; her brother Wade King; her sons-in-law, Paul Rex Allen, Tommy Swangim and Edward Williams; her grandson Paul Sidney Allen; and her great grandchild Walker Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Allen, Sharon Swangim (Mike), Angela Waters (Joseph), Elaine Williams (Rex) and Catherine Medford (Kenny); and her grandchildren, Shylan, Nicolia, Caroline, Connie, Kenneth, Heather, Jessica, Blake and Logan. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
