With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhonda Sue Hudson of Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Long and Toni Long; and her grandparents, Rev. Gaither, Betty Summitt and Emma Usery.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Hudson; her children, Jessica Owensby (Gregg), Sara Burgess and Kim Dellinger (Ben); her grandchildren, Jessalyn Shook (Eli), Grace Owensby, Anna Owensby, Daniel Tindall, Lawson Burgess, Emma Burgess and Zach Jones; her great grandchild Easton Shook; her sister Julie Long Pettus; her nieces, Leah and Leslie Hedgpath; and her great grandchild Connor Moss.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church (208 N Spargo St, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
