She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Laurie Weston (Sam) of Richlands and Mark Grant of Kinston; her granddaughter Kandace Beckley (Logan) of Richlands; her brother Gerry Hamilton (Mary) of Pin Hook; her great grandchild Waylon Ryder Beckley; her husband Norman Lee Grant; her parents, Janice Hamilton and Eldridge Gerry Hamilton; and her sister Valerie Blue (New Testament Baptist Church).
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church (126 Neuse Rd, Kinston, NC 28501).
