He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sloan and Minnie Lanier Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Marie Humphrey Sloan; and his children, Kimmie Sloan Moore of Wilmington and Gary Levarn Sloan of Covington, Tennessee. He is also survived by three Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.
