He is survived by: his spouse Shelia Lanier of Chinquapin, NC; his children, Paul Lanier of Chinquapin, NC and Christy Lanier Moore (Bryan); his siblings, Reba Smith (Bill), Harvey Lanier (Virginia), Elwood Lanier (Maxine) and Chris Baker; and his sister-in-law Gwen Baker. He is also survived by Grandchildren: 7 Great-Grandchildren.
