It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Aycock in Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Frank Bayard Aycock, Jr. and Nell Holder Mitchell; his wife Patsy Keever; his daughters, Janelle Lucksavage (Phil) of Murphy, NC and Glenna Aycock; and his siblings, Frank B. Aycock, III and Nell Richardson (Sidney Buchanan) of Houston, TX.. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
