She was predeceased by : her parents, Olice Owens and Ruth Owens. She is survived by : her husband Charles R. Bennett; her son Billy Lindsey (Jessica) of Asheville; her sisters, Linda Haslett (Mark) of St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, England, Suzi Lewis (Robert) of Peachtree Corners, GA and Terri Davis (Wilton) of Asheville, NC; and her granddaughter McKenzie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Hospital of Marion, 1086 US Hwy 70 West, Marion, NC 28752.
