It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Margaret Rickman Reese of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Robert Rickman Sr. and Florrie Elizabeth Melton Rickman; her siblings, Shirley Ann Rickman Clark, Barbara Laverne Rickman Harris and John Robert Rickman Jr.; her husband Albert Roy Reese; her children, Sharon Lee Reese Allen (Charles Allen), Albert Roy Reese Jr. (Pamela Reese), Melissa Gail Reese Wallace (James Wallace) and April Dawn Reese Tweed (Heath Tweed); her grandchildren, Charles Justin Allen (Tiffany Allen), Jared Lee Allen (Robin Allen), Nathan Cory Wallace, Taylor Elizabeth Wallace, Kaitlyn Nicole Dill (John Dill), Joseph Wyatt Reese (Moriah Queen), Jaiden Paige Tweed (Zacchaeus Rasberry) and Jarrett Jack Tweed; her great grandchildren, Carson Elijah Allen and Brantley Gauge Allen; and her pets, Nala and Jiggs.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Rusty's Legacy, 139 Lytle Mountain Road, Marion NC 28752.
