He is survived by: his children, Carl Lawson (Leigh) of Bladenboro, NC and Rose Herring (Tony) of Lumberton, NC; his stepsons, Jeff Taylor (Patty) of Indiana and Bob Taylor of Evergreen, NC; his daughter-in-law Cindy Taylor of Lumberton, NC; his sister Sherry Lawson Britt (Ricky) of Fairmont, NC; and his close friend Robert Moore (Josephine) of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
