Ollie was loved and cherished by many people including : children, Jamye Hickman Lindsey and Triva Hickman of Raleigh; godson Rev. Cameron Hankins (Tia) of Leland; and granddaughters, Sidney Evalena Lindsay, IV and Hope Perry of Raleigh.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (1705 Southport-Supply Rd SE, Bolivia, NC 28422). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (2586 Old Ocean Hwy, Bolivia, NC 28422).
