She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ferguson and Gaye Fortner Ferguson; her siblings, Christine Foster, Kenneth Ferguson and Jack Ferguson; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Ferguson, Virginia Ferguson, Garvin Foster, R. S. Earp and Carl Swanson.
She is survived by: her son Gary Katz (Donna) of Mooresville; her grandson Justin Katz of Kernersville; her siblings, Janice Earp of North Wilkesboro, Sue Swanson of Moravian Falls, Terry Ferguson (Nancy) of Moravian Falls and Larry Ferguson of Greensboro; and her sister-in-law Betty Ferguson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery (248 Little Rock Church Rd, Boomer, NC 28606).
