It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ephriam Hansford Miller of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Edna Bryan Miller; his parents, George Jefferson Lee Miller and Bessie Margaret Neeley Miller; his son-in-law Larry Townsend; his grandson-in-law Jeffery Saltzman; and his great grandchild Callum O'Herin.
He is survived by : his siblings, Nancy M. Brown, Lovely M. Danner, Fanny Elizabeth "Betty" M. Chapman, Thomas Miller and Malcolm Miller; his siblings-in-law, Linwood MaReady and Quintella M. Miller; his children, Garry Miller, Randall Miller (Angela) and Audrey Townsend; his daughter-in-law Linda Miller; his grandchildren, Alecia Saltzman, Lora Sigmon, Chainey O'Herin (Thomas), Neeley Ponder (Leland), Miranda Warren (David) and Bryan Miller (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, William Saltzman (Brandy), Kaitlyn Nesbit, Bailey Sigmon, Gavin, Jane, Reece O'Herin, Briar Ponder, Drew, Landon and Josiah Miller; his great great grandchildren, Lilly Saltzman and Oaklynn Nesbit; his stepgrandsons, Billy Townsend (Paula) and Allen Townsend; his sisters, Leona MaReady and Nell Porter; his sister-in-law Bettye W. Miller; his brother George Richard Miller; his nieces, Linda and Molly Beach; his nephew Bobby Money; and also Jerry Moretz. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
