With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Marie Pavlik Vander Haar in Boone, North Carolina, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward James and Marie Givens Pavlik; her husband Robert Earl Vander Haar; her sons, James Vander Haar and Charles Vander Haar; and her siblings, Darlene McCoy and LeRoy Pavlik (Bud).
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Farmer (Monroe) of Clifton Forge, VA and Kristine Welborn (David) of Boone, NC; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Vander Haar of Hockessin, DE. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
