She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Greer and Willie Jane Greer; her husband Grady Carlton; her daughter Susie Byrum; and her siblings, Betty Wood, Troy, Bill and Nelson Greer.
She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Aycoth (Ronald) of Winston-Salem; her grandson Dustin Aycoth; her great grandchild Jack Aycoth of Columbia, NC; her siblings, Louise Moretz of Boone and Loye Greer of Lake Wylie, SC; and also Elbert Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Watauga Humane Society, PO Box 1835, Boone, NC 28607.
