He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gordon and Virginia Bingham Taylor; his son Christopher Lee Taylor; and his siblings, Edwin, John Taylor and LouAnn Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Anderson Taylor; his children, Kevin Anderson Taylor (Brandi) of Clemmons and Jodie Taylor Isaacs (Ken) of Boone; his grandchildren, Jackson, Mackenzie, Kara and Cole; his brother Charles Taylor (Carolyn) of Boone; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Davis Taylor of Boone and Susan Tate Taylor Carter of Banner Elk.
