She was predeceased by : her parents, Flona Lee Hardin and James Harrison Barnett; her brothers, Nathan Miller and Gordon Miller; her children, John Dwight Lewis and Mary Ellen Lewis; and her pet Baby.
She is survived by : her siblings, Evelyn Seats, Margaret Moore and Eford Barnett; her sons, Mitchell Buchanan (Leisha) of Mouth and Jim Lewis (Lainey Edmisten) of Boone; and her granddaughter Tammy Buchanan of West Jefferson. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
