It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Lane Hobson (Boonville, North Carolina), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father James "Jack" Lane; and her brother-in-law Denny Hobson. She is survived by : her mother Wilma Mullins Lane; her husband Kenneth Gray Hobson; her children, Julia Marie Hobson and James Kenneth Hobson (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jordan Kenneth, Jemma Kenleigh "Princess" and Jason Gray "Lil Prince"; her siblings, Cynthia "Cindy" Lane and Mark Lane (Linda Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Clara Hobson Hine, Dan Hobson and Barbara D. Hobson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends, and her church family.
