He was predeceased by: his parents, Jaroslov Uhler and Susanne Schaffer Uhler; and his wife Joan Uhler. He is survived by: his children, David Uhler of Raleigh, NC and Christine Miller (Blaine) of Arden, NC; and his grandchildren, Joshua Heath (Irene), Evan Miller and Bethany Miller.
