Jerry Starnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jerry Starnes of Brevard, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Starnes and Alfred Starnes; and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Bronwen Bacon Starnes; his son Kirk Starnes of Zephyrhills, Florida; and his siblings, Dorcas Epley (Joe) of Greenville, SC and John Starnes (Betty) of Greer, SC.. He is also survived by Numerous nephews and nieces.
Because of the Covid-19 virus, an intimate memorial service for the immediate family will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Brevard. Later, when the pandemic is over, there will be a remembrance ceremony held for friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry requested contributions to First United Methodist Church of Brevard Music Fund, 325 N. Broad St., Brevard, NC 28712; Transylvania County Library, or Care Partners Hospice.
